Ahhh, so apparently little girls don't wake up on their third birthdays suddenly over the terrible twos! Who knew? Not me! :) We had a very challenging couple of days early this week. And by challenging, I literally thought we were going to have to have someone perform the exorcism. I think she may have just been very tired and missing her daddy.
Starting on Wednesday to now, I have had an angel. Yes, we have had a few "no's" and one or two time outs but for the most part she has been awesome. She has been listening and being her normal sweet, loving self. Telling us she loves us all of the time and handing out the kisses and hugs. It's fantastic. We are still struggling with the sleeping but everytime we are going to time the re-training, she has another big transition or change. We bought a turtle yesterday that projects stars and are going to try music. I am opting for Nirvana's Lullabies so hopefully soon we will have a big girl sleeper and I will be able to sleep in my own bed again.
I have a big change coming up at work. I have accepting a recruiting position within my company for another divison. It's a very big change but it means working from home full-time. A lot of people are surprised b/c I am so social but I know it will lower the morning stress and it will be worth it. It's also a new challenge which I REALLY need in my career right now. I can only hire so many Financial Aid Officers in a lifetime.
So life is good, great actually....went to a baby shower today and bug was so good with this little baby so it just makes me put more pressure on my sister. :) Anytime she is asked she says that she doesn't want a baby around b/c she wants "mommy all to herself" and lucky for her that's just what she will always have. :)
